The Colony (Occupy) is a 260 image installation exhibition at University JHB art gallery from 8 October 2014. The concept speaks to ideas around workdays, capital and the ordinary person’s integration of those concepts into daily life. In this case the ordinary person is an artist who looks at water and constructs around maleness everyday.

* Fine Art per se can not be bought on the stock exchange. There has been efforts to make stock exchange especially for art but it is a difficult issue. It seems there is an idea of the art world is that it has too many secrets and methods that are not transparent enough. One of the attempts to have it enter the money market this way, was to make a construct called Liquid Rarity Exchange which needs some deep reading. Another person called Thierry Ehrmann and his partners have created an art stock market website where one can read all kinds of information about artists their sales and about millions of art sale events. If you pay a subscription to this website you get access to this library which would ostensibly help you make decisions about whether an artwork is a worthy investment.

Speculative Bubbles on the Wall.

The ocean often makes these bubbles which look kind of dirty but when I swim in them they feel soft and smell very nice, not like soap but like salty sea. The water pulls back on the wall in the tidal pool and leave them behind. The sun also likes them, make them look shiny, but quickly dissolves them into the water.

*A speculative bubble is usually caused by exaggerated expectations of future growth, price appreciation, or other events that could cause an increase in asset values. http://www.investopedia.com/terms/s/speculativebubble.asp
